About the "UNITEHPROM BSU"
The Educational, Scientific and Production Republican Unitary Enterprise with the status of the scientific and technological park. It was founded by the order of the Rector of BSU on September 30, 1999, to commercialize the advanced developments of University scientists in various fields: from low-tonnage chemistry, medical developments, to computing and aerospace technology.
The history of its formation dates back to 1975 when a “Special Design and Technology Bureau” with pilot production had been created at the V. I. Lenin BSU.
The next stage of its becoming was in 1991: the bureau was transformed into the scientific and production company “AUDE”.
In 1993, by order of the Ministry of Education, the “Scientific and Technical Center of BSU” was established. In 1998, it turned into the "educational, scientific and production association of BSU", and in 1999 it turned into the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Unitehprom BSU" (UE "Unitehprom BSU").
A big role in the organization, creation and formation of the enterprise belongs to the leadership of BSU, the Research Institute of Physical and Chemistry Problems BSU, the Faculty of Chemistry BSU and the first director - Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Rakhmanko Evgeny Mikhailovich, who led the team from 1999 to 2006. His management was continued by Pavel Nikolaevich Shulga, who headed the enterprise from 2006 to 2013, and from April 2013 to the present, the team is headed by Pavel Mikhailovich Bychkovsky - Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences, associate professor.
The enterprise was one of the first to introduce the concept into the work of scientists: "From a scientific idea to the organization of production and release of innovative products”.

Development of the Information and Computing Systems Service
At the initial stage, there were 4 divisions in the enterprise's structure, the most experienced of which was the “Information and Computing Systems Service”. It became the continuator of the department № 10 of the “Special Design and Technology Bureau” at BSU, that established in 1975. From 1980 to 2014 the stable head of the division had been Mr. A. I. Kryukov. Under his leadership, in the most productive years, up to 30 employees worked in the department, some of them were awarded state prizes of the Republic of Belarus.
Since the mid-90s, the Information and Computing Systems service has been changing its direction of activity and focusing on the development and manufacture of specialized equipment and software for working with digital information flows. The first result, developed jointly with other BSU units, was the “Dvina” flight information processing system, which was upgraded to the “Dvina M” in the early 2000s, and in 2004 was adopted by the Air Force and the Air Defense Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
Today, the Information and Computing Systems Service employs 2 full-time employees under the leadership of Senior Researcher Mr. Lipnitsky A. S. They are engaged in the development and production of hardware for rewriting the flight information from onboard aircraft storage devices on computers.
Over 10 countries around the world have already benefited from the results of the service activities. The team manufactured and delivered to customers about 120 sets of equipment for rewriting flight information.

Information and Measuring Systems Service
The “Information and Measuring Systems Service”—based on Unitehprom BSU—was created also one of the original, as a research and production unit of the scientific group at the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Radio Physics and Electronics. The group was engaged in measuring electronics and became the research laboratory team of information and measurement systems. The idea of the center is to bring the most successful developments of the faculty’s laboratory to ready-made industrial production, to master them in the industry and to promote the products to the market.
The first head of the service was Associate Professor of the Computer Science Department, Mr. V. A. Chudovsky (1999-2011). His activity was continued by the current head – senior researcher Mrs. A.V. Kalacheva.
Over the past more than 20 years, over 60 types of measuring systems for scientific, educational, industrial, medical, transport and aerospace purposes have been mastered in the production and implemented in various scientific, industrial and educational organizations of the Republic of Belarus, CIS countries and far abroad. Over 20 types of measuring instruments created under the state scientific and technical programs, custom-made and initiative developments were entered the state registers of measuring instruments of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
Measuring instruments, manufactured at the enterprise, are permanent exhibits of many international and domestic exhibitions. They have won several dozen medals, diplomas and certificates. Several dozen international contracts for the supply of the measuring instruments have been executed. Computer measuring systems of digital oscillography of the BORDO family, multifunctional measuring complexes “UNIPRO”, “VOLMA”, “Alma Meter”, “Alma Meter – 2” (I degree diploma, gold medal in the nomination “Best innovative project (Development) in the instrumentation, domestic element base, computers and components”, HI-TECH, St. Petersburg, 2020), transport monitoring systems of the AGENT family, souvenir electronic products, electronic components of small spacecraft, medical equipment: spirometers “MAS-1-A” and “MAS-1-PC”; medical unit "Ptich M".
An important date in the center's history and in the history of BSU is the opening of a prototyping platform and small-scale production of electronic equipment in 2020.
Employees of the service are able to quickly produce mock-up samples of body parts of instruments, sensors and equipment of experimental units, their small-scale production, marking and engraving. The platform allows us to configure electronic devices and modules, output technological and metrological control of their parameters, perform semi-automatic and manual installation (soldering) of electronic components on printed circuit boards.
The platform was created with the financial support of the Republican centralized Innovation Fund of the Republic of Belarus, the innovation fund of the Minsk City Executive Committee and the own funds of «UNITEHPROM BSU», as part of implementing an innovative event to develop the material and technical base.
The peculiarity of the new platform is its orientation to the radiophysical scientific, educational and production cluster of BSU, which has been successfully operating for over 20 years, providing practical interaction and an effective combination of knowledge and experience of researchers and teachers of the Faculty of Radiophysics and Computer Technology, and the Research Institute of Applied Physical Problems of BSU.

Creation of medical and pharmaceutical products
Simultaneously with the order on the creation of «UNITEHPROM BSU»—on September 30, 1999—the “Low-Tonnage Chemistry Service” was established, whose task is the production of medical devices. Today, the team's developments are used by both domestic and foreign laboratories. One of the successful results was the creation of a highly effective set of reagents for staining blood smears “Eosin-methylene blue for automatic systems”, developed for devices for staining blood smears of the “Hemo–Tek” type, and for hematological analyzers “Hemacomp - 10”.
Developments in the medical field have shown the topicality and relevance of the development in the pharmaceutical direction. As a result, on April 1, 2009, the "Pharmaceutical service" was established to introduce joint developments of the Laboratory of polysaccharide chemistry of the BSU Research Institute of Physical and Chemistry Problems, "Republican Research and Clinical Center of Neurology and Neurosurgery" and "N. N. Alexandrov National Cancer Center of Belarus".
At the origins of the creation of the service were employees of the BSU Research Institute of Physical and Chemistry Problems: Ph.D., Associate Professor Pavel Mikhailovich Bychkovsky, Head of the laboratory of polysaccharides, Ph.D., Associate Professor Tatiana Lukinichna Yurkshtovich and researcher Sergey Alexandrovich Belyaev. At the time of creation, 2 key employees and 5 part-timers were engaged in the development of medicines.
One of the most important was the project of the State Program of Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus “creation of low-tonnage production of pharmaceutical substances for the production of antitumor, cardiotropic and other medicines” conforming to GMP standards based on organizations of the Ministry of Education “(2013-2015). Thanks to the financial support of the innovation funds of the Minsk City Executive Committee, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the company’s funds, scientists have successfully developed highly effective medicines, established full-cycle production and in 2016 received a certificate of conformity of GMP production.
Today, medical production is the hallmark of «UNITEHPROM BSU», and the produced products and their extensive patent protection represent Belarus in the international arena. Together with the polymer chemistry laboratory of the BSU Research Institute of Physical and Chemistry Problems, the production of original and generic pharmaceutical substances “Temozolomid”, “Prospidium chloride”, “Prospidelong”, “Temodex”, “Nitargal” and original anticancer drugs “Cisplacel”, “Temodex”, “Prospidelong” for local chemotherapy has been established.
The original medicine “Temodex” for local chemotherapy of brain tumors has received orphan status in Europe—the status of a pharmaceutical—that is developed to treat rare diseases; it has patent protection in Europe, the USA, India, China, and the EAEU countries.
The medicine “Cisplacel” allows patients to increase their life expectancy and the duration of a relapse-free period in the treatment of tumors of the brain, spine and organs of the head and neck.
Today, the teams of the “Pharmaceutical service “ and the laboratory of polysaccharide chemistry of the Research Institute of FHP BSU are implementing a project under the state program of innovative development “organization of production of original bioresorbed multifunctional medicines “under GMP requirements (2019-2022).

Research and Production Food Technology Center
An important direction in implementing scientific initiatives to improve production and maintain public health is the “Research and Production Food Technology Center”. Its purpose since its creation is the development and production of ingredients for the food industry: technological and enrichment additives, vitamin and mineral complexes, gluten-free mixtures for the baking industry, phytosalts, dry seasonings, compositions for beverages, lubricants for baking molds, fertilizers.
The Research and Production Food Technology Center was organized based on developments of the Physical ChemistryDepartment in 1999. The origins of the creation of the center were Ph.D. Madievskaya T.A., Ph.D. Gusev E. A, Ph.D. Dolidovich S.V.
